Dear Ray School Families,

Welcome back from February break! We hope you enjoyed the extra time with your children. 

Hanover and Dresden School Board Candidates Address to Hanover Citizens
In an effort to help you make an informed decision at the polls next week, we have included a short bio and rationale statement from the four candidates vying for the three open school board seats in Hanover and Dresden.  The Hanover District annual meeting is Saturday, March 4th at 1:00pm in the HHS auditorium.  Please note that voting is Tuesday, March 7th from 7:00am until 7:00pm in the HHS gym.

Math Night
On Thursday, March 9th, the Ray School in conjunction with PTO will host its annual Family Math Night starting at 6:00pm. Students will have the opportunity to share and learn different math games. As a bonus, students will have the chance to win a giant jar full of candy for their class with the most accurate estimate of how much candy is actually in the jar.

Passport to Winter Fun
Friday, March 10 is the final day the back flap of the Passport can be turned into Mr. Condon, Ms. Brauch, or the classroom teacher in order to be able to receive a prize and be entered into the raffle. Please be sure to get those back flaps in as soon as your 30 days are complete! For more information, please visit the Ray School Phys Ed website.

Friday Night Babysitting Service - Hope for Haiti Club
On Friday, March 10th, the Hope for Haiti Club at Hanover High School will be offering a babysitting service from 5pm to 9pm at the Marion Cross School. During these 4 hours, they will be serving pizza and popcorn, and offering many activities that include: coloring, playing games, and showing a movie. The cost is $20 for the service. You may drop off and pick up your child at any time between 5pm and 9pm. The Hope for Haiti Club is dedicated to help build a school in Bois D’Avril, Haiti. RMS Transition Meeting
Informational Meeting for RMS Transition for Ray School 5th Grade Parents: March 21st 6-7 PM, Ray School Multi Purpose Room. Please join the RMS School Counselors, John LaCrosse and Liz Powers, as well as Principal Mike Lepene and Associate Principal Amanda Yates for a Q & A session. This initial meeting for parents of current 5th graders will help answer questions about topics including choosing classes, the schedule, the elective program, and the structure of middle school teams. We hope to see you there!

Make A Plate
Check your child's folder/backpack for the Make A Plate form.  Please preregister by March 10th.  Here is a link to the form if needed.

2017/18 Kindergarten Registration
We are looking for incoming kindergarten students for the 2017/18 school year.  If you or someone you know has a child entering kindergarten in the fall and have not received an email with this information, please contact Gwyn Dessert at 603-643-6655.
