Happy Holidays! From all of us at the Ray School

May your days be merry and bright.  And, as sung by our magnificent Grade 4 and 5 Chorales, under the direction of Becky Luce: “Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me…”

Call for Feedback!  Invite a Parent to P.E

What fun was had by children and grown-ups both during our “Invite a Parent to P.E Week.” We invite all parents and guardians, even if you weren't able to join a Physical Education class, please to take a few minutes to complete this short (5 question/5 minute) survey.  P.E. Teachers Clare Brauch, Steve Condon and Annie Mackintosh will use your valuable feedback to assess--and improve upon--this new initiative.   Invite a Parent to P.E. Week Feedback.

Special Message from Mr. Simmers' Class
We, the students of Mr. Simmers' class, are doing a fundraiser for the sea lions of the Galapagos.  They are a very endangered species.  We started this because we have been studying the Galapagos islands and learned that the sea lion is one of the most endangered species on the islands.  If you would like to donate, you can go directly to the World Wildlife Fund website.  If you would like to know what World Wildlife Fund is doing with the money, are are some answers.  They are buying floating docks for the sea lions to rest on  They are also making nurseries for the newborns.  We are hoping to raise $25-$100 dollars during the month of January.  Thank you for being generous.
